This policy explains how NB-Palvelut processes personal data from the website, quote form, chatbot and contact requests.

2. Data we process
We process data you provide through the quote form, chatbot, email, phone or another contact channel.
- Name, email, phone number and preferred contact method.
- Move or transport details, such as date, origin address, destination address, home or premises details, item volume, carrying needs and extra services.
- Free-text details and messages.
- Chatbot conversations, session identifier, page path and technical log data for abuse prevention and service improvement.
3. Purposes
We use data to respond to quote requests, plan services, communicate with customers, handle orders, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and improve service quality.
The chatbot may help with service questions and guide visitors to a quote request. It does not make binding offers or decisions.
4. Legal bases
Processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, the controller's legitimate interest in serving customers and protecting the service, and legal obligations.
5. Service providers and transfers
We use service providers such as Netlify, Google Gemini, Google Sheets and Resend to operate the site and contact flows. Chatbot messages may be processed through Google Gemini, and quote and chat logs may be stored in Google Sheets.
Some providers may process data outside the EU or EEA. In those cases, provider safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or other applicable protections are used.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for quote requests, customer relationships, service delivery, accounting, claims or legal obligations.
Chatbot and form logs are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed for the purposes above.
7. Your rights
Under applicable law, you have the right to access your data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing and receive your data in a portable format.
You can use your rights by contacting us by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
8. Cookies
The site uses essential cookies and local storage for site functionality, such as remembering cookie consent and supporting the chatbot experience. If analytics are added later, they will be enabled based on separate consent.
